Mass displacement, destroyed infrastructure, and critically damaged water systems have left 97% of Gaza’s water unfit for human consumption, further compounding the humanitarian crisis.&nbsp;Muslim Hands has been working in Gaza since 2007, providing vital aid during these difficult times. Through partnerships with the World Food Programme and other organisations, we have distributed nearly five million meals to the most vulnerable, including women, children, and the elderly.&nbsp;Despite the growing difficulties of getting aid into Gaza, especially since Israel imposed a total blockade on humanitarian and commercial supplies on 2 March 2025, Muslim Hands is committed to continuing its life-saving support.&nbsp;We’re currently focusing on:&nbsp;Medical support: covering the salaries of frontline medical staff so they can carry on their vital work treating the injured and saving lives.&nbsp;Bread for Gaza: in partnership with the World Food Programme, we’re providing fortified wheat flour every day to help run 25 bakeries and 24 shops, ensuring families across Gaza have access to fresh bread.&nbsp;Cash Assistance for Children with Disabilities: offering direct financial support to vulnerable families so they can buy essentials with dignity. Gaza Safe Water Fund: our UN partners are delivering at least 3 litres of clean drinking water per person daily through tankers, trucks, and distribution points. They also operate two large wells in Gaza and 55 smaller wells in shelters to ensure families have access to safe water. Muslim Hands is an international NGO working in over forty countries worldwide to help those affected by natural disasters, conflict, and poverty. They provide emergency relief, including safe water, food parcels, and survival packs.
