The war in Yemen has turned a poor country into a humanitarian catastrophe. Currently 22 million Yemeni families lack access to food, health care and safe water and can only rely on food aid alone. This number is only set to rise. Children are bearing the brunt of the conflict, with 1.8 million children suffering from acute malnutrition. Every 10 minutes, a child under five dies of preventable causes in Yemen. 

Our teams are currently running our established bread factories in Aden, Ma’rib and Seiyun - They are providing 100,000 loaves of daily bread across Yemen to tackle hunger and malnutrition.

Fresh bread is baked daily and distributed to widows, orphans and disabled people. Each person receives two loaves of bread.
